Hello!

My Name is Charlotte Morand and I am a multi-disciplinary designer, meaning that I can tackle a variety of projects from designing creative logos to building corporate websites.

I attended Ecole de Communication Visuelle (ECV) for 4 years and graduated as a Visual Communication Designer. Attending ECV expanded my understanding of art concepts, design structures and visual identity, but it also taught me the importance of Typography. Therefore, I enrolled at the Gobelin's School in Paris and majored in xhtml/css, flash and after effects. However, my entire life was always focused on drawing since I was old enough to hold a pencil.

My inspiration for designs comes from my love of photography and travel. I can barely stay home a month without taking my car, a train or a plane to a new destination! And so, in 2007 I moved to Dubai, UAE in search of new inspiration and surroundings where I worked as a Ceative Director for a cultural magazine named Shawati'.

Two years later, I moved to California where I co-founded Dyla, a magazine focused on covering women’s action sports.

Living, working and observing new places has not only given me inspiration, but also the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from corporate assignments for government authorities to personal ones for a friend’s start-up company. The experiences I have accumulated have led me to become a full time freelance Art Director for clients all over the world, where the essence of my work is simple yet sophisticated.

I absolutely love what I do.
